The Venue
CelloFest Ireland 2026 takes place at the Irish Institute of Music and Song (IIMS) and The Lark Concert Hall in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, a seaside town just 30 minutes north of Dublin City and 20 minutes from Dublin International Airport.
The campus combines world-class facilities with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect home for a week of music, creativity, and connection.

The Lark Concert Hall
Purpose-built for performance, The Lark is one of Ireland’s finest small concert halls, known for its beautiful acoustics and elegant design.
This is where CelloFest participants will rehearse, perform, and share their music throughout the week, culminating in our Final Festival Concert.
Its light-filled stage and intimate seating make it an inspiring space to play and listen.
The Irish Institute of Music and Song (IIMS)
Within the same campus as The Lark, the IIMS includes practice rooms, studios, classrooms, and social spaces, all designed with musicians in mind.
Participants will enjoy a supportive environment where they can practise, relax, and meet fellow players.
The campus also features on-site accommodation and dining options, with cafés, shops, and beaches within easy reach.


The Location: Balbriggan, Co. Dublin
Nestled on Ireland’s east coast, Balbriggan offers sea air, coastal walks, and a friendly small-town charm.
It’s easily accessible by train, bus, or car from Dublin, and provides a peaceful backdrop for creative focus.
Between sessions, you can enjoy the nearby beach, harbour, and cafés, or simply unwind in the summer light.
